\roberta\
Roberta (or as we call her, Berta) brings tremendous knowledge and 11 years of direct personal training experience to \ki’netik\ Fitness. She moved back into the State College area after spending a year in Colorado running her own in-home personal training business.
Berta is a certified personal trainer with NASM and is also a Corrective Exercise Specialist. She attended Penn State University and graduated in 2006 with a BS in Kinesiology followed by California University of Pennsylvania where she earned a Masters in Exercise Science and Health Promotions.
In keeping with the values of \ki’netik\ Fitness, Berta consistently runs half marathons and has also done two full marathons, two Tough Mudder races, and a Warrior Dash.
“What I find exciting is working with people new to exercise, just returning, or looking for a challenge in their current program. My goal is to make everyone feel better and more confident with each session.”
You’ll find Berta coaching all kinds of \ki’netik\ large and small group classes as well as many personal training clients.
\Brandon\
Brandon “Kope” Koppenhaver joined the \ki’netik\ Fitness team in 2014 as a Penn State intern. He enjoyed the people and the classes so much, that he officially joined the team and took over the Port Matilda boot camp class.
While his childhood was filled with athletic pursuits, especially martial arts, Brandon did not focus on fitness and personal training until he was deployed to Iraq with the Marine Corps in 2009. Brandon is a 12-year veteran of the Marine Corps and is currently a Correction Activities Specialist and Ninja Warrior instructor for kids in addition to his coaching at \ki’netik\ Fitness. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology/Fitness Studies from the Pennsylvania State University and a Master of Sports Science in Sports Administration from Lock Haven University.
Brandon enjoys recreational activities, athletics, and having fun with his wife, Nicholle, three sons, Junior, Wyatt, and Zeke, and his two chocolate labs.
Brandon seems to do it all at \ki’netik\ Fitness. You can find him at dawn with our bootcamp classes, pushing our Tier One classes to their max, motivating the large group and small group classes and striving for the leaderboard for our monthly fitness challenges.

\Kyle\
Kyle Kinley joined the \ki’netik\ FITNESS team in 2017.
Kyle is a certified personal trainer through Ben Greenfield’s Superman program and through the American Council on Exercise (ACE). While being relatively new in the health and fitness industry, his passion for learning and teaching anything related to improving health makes him an old pro.
After finishing his associate’s degree in architectural drafting and design, Kyle decided to travel the world. He first discovered his passion for health, fitness, and longevity on a 2015 trip to Phuket, Thailand. During this trip, he trained in the martial art of Muay Thai at the Tiger Muay Thai camp for three months. Upon returning home, he decided to share his passion and earn his certification. Everyone at \ki’netik\ is thrilled that he did!
Kyle was born and raised in Bellefonte and has always enjoyed being physically active. When not training at the gym, he enjoys outdoor competitions such as Tough Mudders and Spartan races.
Kyle currently teaches our kettlebell classes on Saturdays.
\Willie\
Sports have always been at the center of my life, starting with football and wrestling in high school, where I learned the importance of discipline, work ethic, and resilience. That passion carried me to the University of Pittsburgh, where I earned my degree in Exercise Science. While at Pitt, I had the opportunity to intern with the Pitt Football program, gaining valuable hands-on experience in strength and conditioning at the collegiate level.
After graduating, I began my career as a Performance Coach at Healthy Baller in Maryland, where I worked with athletes of all levels to develop speed, strength, and performance. Today, I continue that mission as a Performance Coach at Ki’netik Fitness, helping athletes unlock their full potential and prepare for success both in competition and in life.
\Isabelle\
Isabelle Holland-Lulewicz, a certified personal trainer, joined the \ki’netik\ FITNESS team in 2025 after being a member for almost two years.
Isabelle spent her childhood growing up on a horse farm, occasionally finding the time to play soccer, tennis, rugby, and run cross-country. She grew up in Athens, Georgia and attended the University of Georgia for her undergraduate and PhD until a Faculty position at Penn State brought her to State College.
During her early 20s she worked as a personal trainer and group boxing/kickboxing class instructor but took time off to focus on her education. She has always valued finding challenging ways to be active that she enjoys, which she now enthusiastically brings to her coaching style. You can find her in the gym in the early mornings and late afternoons enjoying helping our members get in a solid workout.
Outside of the gym, she enjoys spending time her partner Jake and their 3 dogs and 1 cat. She also enjoys Type II fun outdoors (mostly running, lots of running) as she trains for her ultramarathons and sharing good meals with good friends.
“I love this gym community and am thankful every day for the opportunity to work with and coach such amazing people.”
